![]() They are burdened by the curse of the prequel where the outcome of many events is already known and this is affecting the writing too. More importantly, I think the quality of the writing is dipping. ![]() ![]() Also, insult sword fighting is no substitute for actual time manipulation mechanics that you were able to do in LiS. It feels a lot more like you are going through the motions of completing a task than actually doing something meaningful in the game. Both episodes so far have had one 'event' each that was a really fun gameplay addition but outside of those two instances, all you ever do is walk around a small area, interact with a 3-4 people/items (perhaps in a specific order) and then you move on to the next sequence of scripted cutscenes. For starters, the gameplay sections are getting neutered. Personally, I think LiS:BTS is adopting all the bad traits of Telltale games.
